Jalyn Vaughn, 19, of Bruce, was arrested Monday and charged with accessory after the fact.
Calhoun City Asst. Chief Tito Lopez said Vaughn was driving the “get-away” car that Quentin Conner, 21, and Avery Hill, 22, escaped in after breaking into the home of Miriam Williams and her boyfriend Antonio Coleman and shooting her multiple times.

They were both arrested last week.  Bond for all three has been set at $500,000.
The incident occurred at 307 North Main Extended in Calhoun City around 1 a.m. Aug. 17.
Williams, 22, was transported to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo where she underwent surgery for multiple gunshot wounds. Lopez said she was still hospitalized, but improving.

Coleman fled the scene and was not injured. He was arrested afterwards and charged with possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and felon in possession of a firearm, Lopez said. He has since bonded out.
“This was not a random act,” Lopez said of the crime. “Everyone involved in this incident knew each other.”
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is assisting in the investigation which is ongoing.
