The 32nd Annual A.D. Goodman Scholarship Banquet will be Saturday, Nov. 28, at 7 p.m. at the St. Luke Masonic Lodge in Bruce.
Lasherica Thornton
The 2015 Scholarship recipient is Lasherica Thornton. She is a graduate of Bruce High School; currently attending the University of Mississippi, majoring in journalism with a minor in legal studies. She is the granddaughter of Samuel and Ellie Stephens.
Guest speaker for this year’s event is Mrs. Camila Alexander, assistant principal in Collierville, Tn.
Bernice Smith and Johnny Armstrong are the honorees for this year’s banquet.
