A Calhoun City home was destroyed by fire Tuesday afternoon.
The Porter home on CR 403, north of Calhoun City and Derma, was consumed by fire that appeared to start around the HVAC unit.
No one was home or injured in the fire, although the interior of the home was a near total loss.
Calhoun City and Derma fire departments responded to the call.
