Alderman and mayor pro-tem A.G. Gibson presided over the routine Derma meeting in the absence of Mayor Dock Gabbert last night.

Town attorney Paul Moore, in his remarks at the meeting, encouraged aldermen to talk to County Tax Collector Bill Malone about the county collecting taxes for the municipalities which is being done in many parts of the state now.
Clerk Deneen James reported bad debts– Tammy S. Blakeney, Micheal Pryor, Amanda Moralles, Lauren Jackson and Fedrick Reese.
The board approved MS Rural Water Training March 28-31 for Shane Childs.
The next board meeting will be Tuesday, Feb. 2.
