Calhoun County is under a "winter storm warning" with potential accumulation of 2-4 inches, according to the National Weather Service.
The warning takes effect at midnight tonight (Thursday, Jan. 21) and continues until 9 p.m. Friday.
The warning includes the potential for snow, sleet and ice accumulations.
Rain is forecast to continue falling throughout the day today and early tomorrow changing over to snow mid-morning Friday when the temperature is expected to drop to the freezing mark.
Temperatures are not expected to climb out of the 30s until sometime Sunday.
