Calhoun City High School Senior Taylor J. White has been named as a STAR (Student-Teacher Achievement Recognition) Student for this year by the Mississippi Economic Council’s M.B. Swayze Foundation, sponsor of the STAR program.
Taylor chose Teresa Whitaker, one of his teachers at Eupora, as Star Teacher. Taylor is the son of Chad and Lisa White of Pittsboro. He will be honored during the STAR Program at the annual Education Celebration on April 28, at the Jackson Convention Center in downtown Jackson.
