The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office is collecting items to be delivered to law enforcement officials in Livingston Parish, Louisiana this weekend.
Sheriff Greg Pollan said he was told "a large percentage of the law enforcement officials in Livingston Parish lost everything they own in the recent flood. Even though they have suffered great personal loss, they are out everyday helping the citizens of their parish through the horrific ordeal."
Pollan said he is accepting donations of food, water, toiletry items and gift cards for anyone that wants to contribute.
You can drop the items off at the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office in Pittsboro between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. today (Thursday) and Friday.
