Corbitt, Clements running again in Derma, Vardaman

Derma and Vardaman had the only election qualifiers over the past week with just over a month left for candidates to enter municipal races.
Alderwoman Andrea Corbitt qualified to seek re-election to the town board. Alderwoman Kendra Mays is the only other qualifier there thus far.
Jeff Clements qualified to seek another term on the Vardaman board of aldermen. He joins alderman Wilbur Holmes and Mayor James Casey as the only qualifiers there.
Bruce, Pittsboro, Calhoun City, Slate Springs and Big Creek still report no qualifiers.
Qualifying continues through March 3.
