Kenny Clanton is the newest member of the Big Creek board of aldermen.
Clanton was appointed by the board to serve the remaining years on the late Ron Harville’s term. The board appointed Clanton after no one qualified to run for the position in a special election.
Harville passed away in May shortly after being re-elected without opposition to a new term on the board.
