Vardaman Schools were on lock down for a brief period this morning due to a domestic situation between a teacher and her husband.

Vardaman police were notified that William B. Hubbard Jr., 55, was en route to the school and Chief Kenneth Scott ordered the lock down. Hubbard was intercepted before making it to the campus and arrested domestic violence simple.
Authorities stressed no students were ever in danger.
