Bruce and Vardaman graduations moved indoors Friday night; Calhoun City graduation is Saturday

Graduation ceremonies will take place around the county this Friday and Saturday night.
Bruce High School will hold its graduation Friday, May 25 at 6 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The doors will open at 5 p.m. to start admitting those with tickets.
BHS’s class of 2018 consists of 42 seniors. They are led by Valedictorian Caitlin McCormick, daughter of Tunya and Michael McCormick, and Salutatorian Janna Turner, daughter of Kristi Shelton and Barry Turner.

Vardaman High School graduation will be held Friday, May 25 at 8 p.m. in the school gym.
VHS will have 58 seniors receiving their diplomas. Leading the class of 2018 will be Valedictorian Kayla Gaskin, daughter of Michelle and Keith Gaskin, and Salutatorian Dakota Murphree, son of Renea Vaughn and Brian Murphree.

Calhoun City will hold its graduation ceremony Saturday, May 26 at 6 p.m. at D.L. Harrison Field. In the case of rain the ceremony will move inside the school auditorium. Each senior will receive 10 tickets.
Calhoun City High School has 46 graduates. They are led by Valedictorian Walker Hardin, son of Susan and Tony Hardin, and Salutatorian Courtlone Glaspie, son of Rosie and Kenny Glaspie.

Calhoun Academy held commencement exercises on May 13 with nine in the Class of 2018. They were led by Valedictorian Sara Faye Washington, daughter of Jonna and Scott Washington, and Salutatorian Anna Claire Watkins, daughter of Lisa and Michael Watkins.
