The Bruce High School Band Director was taken into custody this morning on charges involving a minor.
Jon Bland, 41, was arrested by Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office around 9 a.m. and charged with five counts of enticement of a child to meet for sexual purposes.
Bond will be set tomorrow, Sheriff Greg Pollan said.
A probable cause hearing will not be required because the alleged victim is not a student in Calhoun County Schools.
The case is still under investigation.
