The Skuna River is high this morning as flood waters depart Bruce. Heavy rains throughout the day and night Wednesday overwhelmed the town's drainage system flooding roads as well as some businesses and homes.
The deepest flooding was in South Bruce where all the water flows to reach the river.
Several roads in town had to be barricaded due to deep water flooding across making it too dangerous to drive through.
Bruce Asst. Police Chief Bryan Roberts was among those out inspecting flood areas around town.
Roads in South Bruce and McSweyne Street got the worst of the rising waters.
This intersection just outside Talford's Laundromat was almost two feet deep.
