Due to the illness of a few aldermen, Calhoun City was forced to postpone their regular monthly meeting Tuesday night due to lack of a quorum.

Mayor Amye Hill said they would make an announcement on when the meeting will be held later this week when they can confirm they will have enough board members able to attend.
Among the items on the scheduled agenda are: re-appointment of Brenda Genin and Beverly Easley to library board; public works, water and sewer reports; adopt municipal questionaire, approve statewide mutual aid compact, discuss MML liability plan for uninsured motorists coverage, payment and review of financial reports for the month.
