Calhoun Baptist Disaster Relief Team worked in Albany, GA four days last week, with well over 400 work orders to cut fallen trees and clean up yards.
David Mitchell, James Howell, Daniel Lee and Stanley Criss worked nine and 10 hour days cutting up and moving downed trees in yards to the roadside, cutting leaning trees and those with blown out tops. They also removed stumps wherever possible.
There was minimal house damage in the area where they were, a few shingles blown off, but trees were down most everywhere.
There was major damage to the peanut crop there and a big loss on the cotton that had not been picked.
