Absentee voting will conclude this Saturday

The deadline to cast an absentee ballot in the Circuit Clerk’s office will be Saturday, Nov. 3 at noon. 

The office is open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.  every day but the deadline is Saturday at noon for those voters over the age of 65, who will be out of the county or state on election day. 

Voters who are temporarily or permanently disabled and students away at college can also call and request an absentee ballot.  

 “We have had numerous inquiries from voters who are not sure about their voting precinct or their status (active or inactive),” Circuit Clerk Carlton Baker said. “They can call the office (662-412-3101) or visit www.sos.ms.gov/vote for more information.”

The ballot will feature the following races:

U.S. Senate

•Roger F. Wicker, Republican

•Danny Bedwell, Libertarian

•Shawn O’Hara, Reform

U.S. Senate
