How much can you spend during the Sales Tax Holiday?
According to Mississippi’s Department of Revenue, the Sales Tax Holiday applies to individual items less than $100.
Those wishing to participate in the tax-free weekend can spend more than $100 dollars on a group of items, so long as each item remains less than $100 (for example, if one purchased two shirts for $50 a piece and a jacket for $90, that $190 total would be tax-free, as each individual item costs less than the $100 limit).
