Christie began her service as Manager of Accounting Services in 1999 and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2012. She has led the financial services through several transitions, improvements, and long-term financing arrangements, including software upgrades, bank loans, bond financings and HUD loans.

Under her leadership, MMSS’s annual audits have resulted in the highest results. Christie’s financial office team is noted for its long-tenured and committed staff. Her mission as CFO was to find the resources to enable the company’s mission of serving older adults in the spirit of Christian love.
“Working closely with Operation, Christie has a good grasp and understanding of all facets of our mission and embodies our culture,” said Steve McAlilly, MMSS president.
Christie and her husband Corey have two high school aged daughters. She was also recently elected to serve on the Calhoun County School board.

“As a graduate of the University of Mississippi, Christie demonstrates a profound commitment to our mission, vision, culture and values,” McAlilly said. “I look forward to continuing to serve with Christie in her new capacity and continuing the MMSS way of striving to be more today than we were yesterday.”
