Yoda Creek golf course in Bruce is expected to have new owners within the next month.

Andy Reid, majority stockholder, confirmed the expected sale on Monday saying they are in the process of finalizing the deal. Reid said the prospective buyers would be announced once everything is final.

Newsletters were recently mailed to the golf course and swimming pool members as well as homeowners in Yoda Creek subdivision announcing a new “Rewards Program” for members this spring and emphasizing that “Yoda will thrive and we look forward to a very good year.”

Reid acknowledged rumors have been swirling about the future of the golf course, but he was adamant that he is committed to keeping a golf course in Bruce. He said they’ve held meetings recently with stockholders and members to keep them informed of the potential changes and to reassure them the golf course and pool would remain open.
“I’m excited about this potential sale,” Reid said. “I think this will be great for the new owners, Yoda Creek and Bruce.”
The nine-hole golf course opened in 1994 offering memberships for both the course and the swimming pool. There are currently nine homes in the adjoining subdivision.
