Another beautiful week has passed us by. The mornings have been a bit chilly but the days have been amazing. I love this time of year. Everything seems better somehow.
Maybe because it’s so beautiful. I don’t know. I just know my days feel a little brighter. I’m finally getting somewhat back to normal.
I know grief takes a while but it’s still so fresh. I never thought about what it would be like to lose a parent. I’ve found that writing tends to help.

I’ve always kept a journal. I even had one with me at the hospital to read to my dad when he came home about all that went on. I guess I’ll need to start one about this unexpected journey without him.
It was a great service Sunday morning. Bro. Billy gave the message from 1 Samuel 16:7. God wants to use us. Each one of us has a purpose. As humans we look at outward appearances. God sees what is inside us. Jesus was judged for being a carpenter’s son.
We have a responsibility as God’s children. David was the youngest, and he was small. It made no sense that he was chosen by God to rule a nation.
But he was. We have a purpose also. We have value in the eyes of God. We’ve been chosen to bring the love of Christ to the lost and the needy.
The world may tell you that you’re not big enough or experienced enough to make a difference in the kingdom of God.
But God will give you the knowledge and strength to do what He needs you to do.
The good news is God chooses those that the world wouldn’t. We all have a purpose or a calling. If you allow him, God can change everything.
We invite you to join us at Mt. Liberty. Services start at 11. We love you all and may God bless.
