New visitation rules put in place for Bruce Community Living Center

Bruce Community Living Center is excited to announce its COVID-free status. We have met the requirements necessary to open our front porch for visitors. The CDC recommends making a reservation, please call Tammy to book yours today. 662-412-5100
The visit may last for up to 45 minutes. This time allotment will allow for proper sanitizing between visits. A team member will be present to help meet your needs. Temperature checks will need to be completed before the visit and must be below 99 degrees. Guests, just like team members, cannot exhibit any signs of COVID or be sick in any way. The new normal of six feet of between parties must be maintained. Both the resident and guests will need to wear a mask. In keeping with the same protocols of hospital ICU visitation, it is best if no children under the age of 18 be permitted to visit. We are limited to only having 2 guests per resident. In the last prevention method steps, guests are not allowed to share snacks with the residents and any gifts must be sanitized properly by a team member.

Bruce Community Living Center chose to open their front porch as a result of their continued COVID-19 free status along with meeting the CDC guidelines for re-opening steps. While the current weather conditions may not make for the ideal for visits the experience of reconnecting to your loved one it is worth the effort.
