A Bruce woman was transported by ambulance to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after an accident involving a log truck on Hwy. 9.
Cindy Tutor was taken to Calhoun Health Services from the scene at the entrance gate to Weyerhaeuser in Bruce.
Tutor’s car and a log truck driven by Timothy Brighton of Grenada were involved in the accident.
Bruce Police Chief Stan Evans said the log truck was pulling out of Weyerhaeuser when the two vehicles met in the middle of the highway.
Tutor’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening. Brighton was not injured.
The accident remains under investigation.
