New signs for the Leo “Bud” Welch Museum were the primary topic of conversation at the Bruce board meeting last week.
The board received approval from the state to pay for a couple signs directing people to the home of the former Blues musician. His son Leo Welch Jr. takes care of the museum, which features memorabilia from his father’s career. There is no admission.
Signs will be erected on the north and south entrances.
In other news, the board approved the 2020 tax roll as presented by the tax assessor, paid a bill for the Haworth access road project and another bill with Willis Engineering.
