Another large crowd turned out for the annual Pig Scramble last week at the Calhoun County Fair.
Austin Cannon was the winner in the 6-year old division of the pig scramble Thursday night at the Calhoun County Fair. Other winners were: 2-3, Caleb Ware; 5, Aubrey Nelson; 7, Lily Jester; 8, Bentley Anthony; 10, Logan Jenkins; 11, Landon Logan, and 12, Marlie Marter.
Cole Sullivan, McCoy Nichols, Levi Stewart and Luke Stewart all head for the pig in the 4-year olds’ scramble. Luke Stewart was the winner.
In the 9 year old competition, Mose Gore was the winner in the end, but not until the pig escaped from a long struggle with Jaxon Cook, right. At left are Ryland Doss and Conner Shelton, and between Gore and Cook is Graysen Moore.
