Sara Jane Parker, Emma Kate Pratt and Bennett Clanton were all grand champions winners during the 2013 Calhoun County Fair Pet Show.
Parker and her dog Laci earned top honors among 14 dog entries. Other winners included Callie Lee and Tiny for well behaved; Piper Cannon and Polka Dot for cutest; Chasey Bennett and Rusty for saddest eyes; Ellen Harrell and Sassy for friendliest eyes; Cobi Lann Cannon and Sparkles for waggiest tail; Jensyn Cain and Missy for most shy; Anna Kathryn Clary and Prissy for best personality; Gemi Moore and Tootie were best all around; Hayden Barnett and Scooby won silliest; Alex Box and Koda earned cuddliest; Lana Harrell and Champ were shortest legs; Aubrey Lee and Harley won “Macho Man;” and Brooke Bennett and her dog Zoe won fluffiest.
Pratt and her cat Lily earned grand champion in the “cats” category and the costume contest.
Other costume winners were Myka Carothers and Little Blackie Fuzz Fuzz (rabbit) for most tropical; Aubrey Lee and Harley won toughest; Lana Harrell and Champ won most creative; Sara Jane Parker and Laci won “Little Miss Sparkle;” Sassiest was Ellen Harrell and Sassy; Gemi Moore and Tottie were most stylish; Callie Lee and Tiny were named “Most unhappy to be in costume;” frilliest was Anna Kathryn Clary and Prissy; Chasey Bennett and Rusty were calmest; and Hayden Bennett and Scooby won for best hat.
Four competed in the miscellaneous category with Bennett Clanton and his goat Jill earning grand champion.
Myka Carothers and her rabbit Little Blackie Fuzz Fuzz earned well behanved. CJ Weddle and her hermit crab Hermit won for most unusual. Maggie Rennie and her hampster Frack won the smallest award.
The show was hosted by the 20th Century Club of Bruce.
