Supervisors heard requests for improvements to the property around the health department and approved a solid waste grant during a brief meeting Tuesday morning.
Delinda Hodge from the county health department asked the board for some gravel for the parking lot.
“I don’t know the answer, it washes away every time we get a big rain,” Hodge said.
She also asked that the high grass around the bank surrounding the health department be cut down to make the area more presentable.
The board agreed to look into it.
Supervisors approved a solid waste grant from the MDEQ for $11,473. The funds are used to help fund salaries in the department.
The board approved the final payment for a State Aid paving project on CR 300.
Chancery Judge candidate Helen Robinson of Oxford spoke to the board.
