Celebrate Love Your Library month at Jesse Yancy Memorial Library in Bruce. Join us on Saturday, Feb. 7 from 11 a.m.-noon as we celebrate “Take Your Child To The Library” Day!

We’ll have a story, a small craft, and a short movie. Popcorn will be provided, bring your favorite drink.
Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Children 8 and up being dropped off must have an adult contact name and number left at the front desk.
Then, be sure to pack your sack lunch and join us for a Brown Bag Luncheon Tuesday, Feb. 10 at noon.

Author Hilary Hamblin will be joining us to share about her book “The Arrangement” as well as writing and publishing in the Christian fiction genre.
“The Arrangement” tells the story of  Evie, whose “wealthy parents have just given her the ultimatum to stop dating her boyfriend Ben, or lose their financial support her junior year of college. Worse, they want her to consider an arranged marriage to the family lawyer, Eli Wheatly. True, Eli is handsome—tall, with a mop of curly black hair—but looks aren’t enough for Evie.

She dreams of true love. When Evie and Ben hatch a scheme to continue quietly dating while she goes out on a few dates with Eli to keep her parents happy, Evie is surprised and confused by the romantic flutterings she feels around Eli.
What if she’s found the man she truly loves…while dating another?”

Coffee and dessert will be served. Books will be available for purchase/signing following the program.
Be sure to check out the Friends of the Library Book Sale during the month of February. Bring your own bag from home and take advantage of the “Go Green” $2 per bag sale.
Call the library at 983-2220 for more information about these and other programs or check us out on Facebook at “Fans of the Jesse Yancy Memorial Library.”
