Mayor J.R. Denton said he hopes for some MEMA funds to help with those areas.
It was approved for Calhoun City Fire Department to apply on behalf of the city for a 95/5 Assistance to Firefighters Grant for equipment.

A resolution was approved to accept a USDA Rural Development  Community Facilities Grant for a police vehicle to replace the truck that had been wrecked.
Nick Doles and Josh Miller will continue as Park and Rec Activities Operations Director and Activities Administrator.

The Dec. 1, 2015 action to advertise for bids for the sale of the “fire department Atmos truck” was rescinded, and a request to transfer that 2-ton truck to Webster County Emergency Management in Walthall was approved.
The contract with MS Probation Services Inc. was also approved.
