The Business of the Year award was presented to The Calhoun County Journal. Editors Lisa McNeece and Celia Hillhouse accepted on behalf of the newspaper.

The chamber also paid tribute to a team of volunteers – Wayne and Tillie Gullett, Danny Spratlin, Linda Doler, Larry and Shirley Bratton, and Mason Good – who led the work in putting together the new nativity scene displayed by the town on the square at Christmas.
The Journal will have pictures and more coverage from the banquet in next week’s edition.
