Calhoun County supervisors are scheduled to consider appointing Deputy Cody Jenkins as the county’s new fire coordinator at a meeting this morning (Wednesday).
Deputy Dean Poynor has held the position since 2004. If Jenkins is approved, he will attend training next January and Poynor will continue to serve in the role until Jenkins earns certification.
Also on the agenda is acceptance of a solid waste grant in the amount of $11,280.
