WEST POINT, Miss. (AP) - Two men are being charged in the deaths of a couple found dead in a car in northern Mississippi.
The Clay County Sheriff's Department says in a news release that 22-year-old Shundray Johnson of Mantee and 24-year-old Tabarrius Coffey of Calhoun City were arrested Friday.
They are charged in the slayings of Kentario L. Boyd and Kenya Campbell, who were both 23 and from Tupelo.
The bodies of Boyd and Campbell were found Tuesday in a red Chrysler PT Cruiser on an isolated stretch of road in Clay County, about a mile from Mantee.
It was not immediately clear whether Johnson and Coffey are represented by attorneys.
