Bro. Allen and Debra Dearing of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church will lead the Calhoun City Christmas Parade when it travels around the square Saturday at 7 p.m.

This year’s theme is “Twas the Night Before Christmas.”
Lineup will begin at 6 p.m. for floats in the high school parking lot for judging purposes. All other entries will line up on the drive by the high school baseball field at 6:30 p.m.
The parade will come to the square from the west, exit toward the redlight where it will turn north toward the vo-tech, then back to Main Street and return to square exiting to the west.
The CCHS band will be selling soup and hot chocolate before the parade on the square.
Children can also be on the lookout for a special mailbox coming to the Calhoun City Square for collecting letters to Santa.
