Calhoun County will host a Wildlife Tasting Buffet and Expo on Monday, Feb. 10 at 6:30 p.m.
The event will be held at the Multi-Purpose Building in Pittsboro. All wildlife dishes need to be at the Multi-Purpose Building before 6 p.m. and accompanied by the recipe if you plan to have them judged. The categories will be Fin-Feather-Fur-Deer-and Wild Hog.
Program Speaker is Mr. Keith Meals, Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries & Parks Fisheries Biologist. The program will be a crappie fisheries program.
There will be allotted time on the program for the biologist as well as local crappie guides to answer questions. Admission will be free of charge if bring a wildlife dish, $2 if bring a side dish/dessert, and $5 if bring no dish.
