Our week went well. AG had dermatologist appointment last Thursday. Over the weekend we took our usual rides. Saturday we drove through rain entering Okolona, on over to Aberdeen and got in the second rain, third hard rain was coming back toward Houston. We both said that was first heavy rain we’d been in for a while.
If you have family on the coast as we do, I know you have been watching for updates on the two hurricanes, Marco and Laura.

Our son Joe lives in Mobile so we are anxiously waiting for the final track update. Pray for the ones on the coast and the friends and families there.
Barbara Hendrix called to let me know of their family reunion held at Paul Hendrix and Gail Lee’s home in Bruce. Those attending were Evelyn Wallace, Vicksburg; Cathy Ward, Flowood; Carol Sills, Brownsville, Tn; Mark Hendrix and son Cannon, Vardaman; Smiley and Debra Arrington, Coffeeville; Larry Jr, Julie Baker, and son Cole, Big Creek.
Barbara reports everyone seemed to enjoy their time visiting.
Congratulations to Christopher and Holley Easley on the birth of their daughter. Olivia Blake was born on August 19 and weighed 7 lbs 8 oz. Mother and baby are doing well the last I heard.
I understand all the grands have gotten cuddle time with Olivia. Nothing like a new baby to bring out the biggest smiles.
Please watch for school children, school buses, and for farm equipment on our roadways. Schools are opening back up and the Academy is beginning their second week so give yourself some extra time to get to work.
Farmers will be moving equipment from field to field so don’t get frustrated at them just leave early to where you need to be.
Please remember our sick friends and neighbors this week. This week I have JR Denton, Etta Denton, Jimmy Coker, Wilma Gibson, Mallie Kate and Kane Kendall who were in an accident last week, Crystal Garcia’s son Cayson, James Tedder, Holli Ellis, Harold Tallent, Jeannie Gaspard, Jackie Peden, Alan Murphree, Ann Whitt, Wayne McMahan, Teresa Hardin, Penny Nichols, Bill Davis, Candy Huffman, Shirley Herrod and Quay Wolfe.
Sympathy and prayers for the families of Sammy Anderson, John Robert Williams whose services were held this past week.
