From Jan Barber: Days should be getting shorter and cooler. I am thankful for President Franklin D. Roosevelt signing the Social Security Act August 14, 1935 which took care of human needs and provided economic soundness. Attended Lighthouse Baptist Church, Bro. Bray gave a meaningful talk about things getting better with God (Philippians 4:13), Andrew Griffin led singing, and Jerry Brasher opened in prayer. Please remember to pray for Sam Burt, J.R. Denton, Peggy Bookman, Mary McClain, Jery Ward, Linda Doler, our businesses, police, county and president. “No love or friendship can cross the paths of our destiny without leaving some mark on it forever!”
