Calhoun County Supervisors approved the reverse auction bid for an automatic side loading garbage truck from Sansom Equipment in the amount of $294,626 at their meeting last Friday.
Other items approved by the board included:
•Payment for ERBR-STP/BR-0007(33)B02 project to Colom Construction Co. Inc in the amount of $291,295.98 and Wills Engineering. in the amount of $41,715.73.
•A three year renewal contract for the Law Library.
•2021 legislative proposals.
•Door-to-door garbage pickup for Carrie Mitchell.
•Frank Silas addressed the board about concerns regarding bridge closures.
