Absentee ballots for the upcoming District One Supervisor special election are now available.
If you are disabled or temporarily disabled, you may call the Calhoun County Circuit Clerk’s office at 412-3101 to request an absentee ballot.
Voters needing to vote absentee may also come by the circuit clerk’s office to vote during regular business hours – Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Absentee voting is open through Saturday, Nov. 4 at noon.
The race has three candidates – Charles Bobo of Calhoun City, who currently serves in the position after being appointed by the board following the resignation of Ernest Fox, Joey Jones of Bruce, and Tom Terry of Pittsboro.
